Some may know the interesting fact about play dough, that it is unsuitable for gluten intolerant children because the makers actually make it out of wheat, conceding that kids are bound to try and eat it. But with chocolate modelling, all kids can actually eat their creations after making them, or along the way if they are hungry! The kids will be thrilled as they can make anything from animals to houses using chocolate in this workshop!

Hama or Perler beads are colourful plastic beads that can be used to form collages and pictures. This fun activity trains fine motor skills, visual perceptual skills, and cognitive skills. Working with smaller beads encourages children to use their pincer grasp, thus strengthening the small muscles of their hands. Many components of making Hama beaded crafts increase eye-hand coordination and cultivate creativity and patience.

Additionally, the workshop promotes sharing and cooperation as kids will choose beads to complete their designs in a group setting.
Kids will bring home two of their chosen design pieces from the workshop.
About the Instructor:
Miss Carolyn Choo has been a teacher for the past 16 years. She specialises in secondary mathematics and runs her own tuition centre. She became interested in Hama beads when she was in Hong Kong in 2010. Her creations include Smurfs, Angry Birds, Hello Kitty, Disney characters etc. She has made over 1000 designs and sells them mostly to her students. Many of her graduate students still buy from her because she comes up with new designs every month. |

Happy Nutella Cuppies with Fondant |

Let your little ones join us for some baking fun this March school holiday as they get to bake their own cupcakes using nutella. They can also stretch their creativity in this workshop as they decorate their cupcakes using fondant figurines or shapes which they make themselves! We are sure it will be pure goodness in every bite of the cupcakes!
